1. Submit your application

Submit your application through our online job portal. A recruiter will review your profile carefully and forward it to the hiring manager if your skills and experience fit the role.  
Tip: Tailor your CV and application to the role you’re applying for. 

2. Assessments

For some roles, you may be asked to complete a short assessment, such as a personality or skills test. This helps us understand your strengths and working style, so we can set you up for success.

3. Interviews

If there’s a match, you’ll be invited to one or more interviews. These may take place online or in person. You’ll meet the recruiter, the hiring manager, and sometimes future teammates. Think of this stage as a two-way conversation: we get to know you, and you get to explore if Danfoss is the right fit for you.

4. The Decision

If we agree to team up, we’ll align on the terms and conditions of your employment in line with local practices. If you’re not selected this time, you’ll still hear from us — and we may consider you for other opportunities in the future.

5. Pre-boarding and Onboarding

Once you accept your offer, your journey with us begins. Your manager will stay in touch, you’ll get the information you need before your first day, and we’ll make sure you have a smooth start. Onboarding at Danfoss is designed to help you feel welcome, supported, and connected from day one.

How do I apply for a job at Danfoss?

All open positions are listed on our job portal. Create a profile and apply to the openings that match your interests and skills. Your profile also allows you to track the status of your application, save job alerts, and apply quickly to future roles. 

Can I send in my application by mail?

No. To keep the process fair, consistent, and secure, we only accept applications submitted through our online job portal.

In which language should I apply?

Please apply in the language of the job ad. This ensures your application can be reviewed quickly by the right team. Don’t worry, every application is read and considered. 

Can I apply even if there’s no current opening for me?

Yes. If you don’t see the right role today, you can register your profile and join our talent community. This way, you’ll stay connected and can be considered for future opportunities. 

Can I apply for different positions in different countries?

You are welcome to apply for any position in any country. Please note that in some countries, a work permit is required. 

If I am rejected for one position, can I apply for another?

Even though you have been rejected for one position, you might be a perfect match for another position at Danfoss. We always welcome your application. 

How do we handle your personal data?

How do I stay updated on job opportunities at Danfoss?

The easiest way is to set up a job alert on our Danfoss Job Portal. Once you’ve created your profile and logged in, you can choose your preferences and receive email notifications whenever new roles match your interests. 

You can also: 

  • Visit our career site anytime to explore life at Danfoss and browse open jobs.
  • Use our Danfoss Careers Chat AI on the portal to quickly search for relevant roles or set up alerts.

How do I create a job alert?

Start by visiting our Danfoss Job Portal and creating your candidate profile. Once you’re there, you can set up a job alert in three ways: 

  • In your profile – Log in, go to Job Alerts, and set your preferences. You’ll then receive email updates when new roles match your criteria.
  • Directly from a job posting – On each job ad, look for the Create Alert button. You can also choose how often (in days) you’d like to get updates.
  • With our Danfoss Careers Chat AI, A chat window will pop up on the portal. Just ask it to help you create a job alert, and it will guide you step by step. 

This way, you’ll always stay updated on new opportunities that fit your interests. 

Once you have applied

Will you confirm that you have received my application?

Yes. Within 24 hours you’ll receive an email confirming that we’ve received your application. 

When can I expect a response to my application?

We review all applications carefully and aim to respond as quickly as possible. Timing may vary by role and country, but we’ll always keep you updated. 

How can I get an update on my application?

You can log into your profile at any time to see the latest status of your application. Our recruitment team will also contact you directly as your application moves through the process. 

How can I withdraw an application?

You may withdraw your application at any time.  Log on to your profile, click on “Job Application”. Select the job posting and click on the “Withdraw Application” button. Confirm your choice in the pop-up window. The status of your application will then be changed. 

How do I reset my password?

Click on "Forgot your password?" on the login page. Enter your e-mail and click on the submit button. You will then receive a system-generated email to reset your password.

What is your approach to pay transparency?

We are committed to providing a transparent and fair recruitment experience. 
As part of this commitment, we share salary information where required by local laws and continuously expand transparency in line with regulations and best practices.  

Why do some job postings include a salary range while others do not?

Salary ranges are displayed based on legal requirements in the country where the role is posted. 
In locations where such disclosure is not yet mandatory, information on individual role-based compensation and benefits may be shared later in the recruitment process.

Why is the salary range only shown for one location?

For roles that can be hired in multiple locations, the salary range shown in the job posting reflects the primary posting country. 

This ensures: 

  • Compliance with local regulations 
  • A consistent and transparent candidate experience 
  • Alignment with internal compensation structures 
How can I find out the salary range for my preferred location?

If you are interested in a role in a different location than the one displayed, we encourage you to contact your Talent Acquisition representative. 


They will be happy to discuss:

  • Country-specific benefits
  • Additional context relevant to your situation
